Let us help you
Relationship breakdown and divorce
Divorce can be the most stressful event in your life. You need support and the reassurance of knowing exactly where you stand. Our sympathetic yet practical advice will give you both.
Children
In an ideal world, parents should act in the best interests of their children. Often, when a relationship breaks down, the children can, and often do, suffer.
You need a practical solution, preferably agreed out of court, which minimizes distress to your children – and you. If this is impossible to achieve, it may be necessary to ask the court to intervene.
Money and Property
When a family separates, the budget has to stretch to support two households. Our clients are often anxious to know where they stand from a legal point of view. Speed is of the essence. We will guide you through this process and suggest different options for you to consider. Our aim is to resolve finances without going to court, which can be expensive and distressing.
We advise about mediation. Where the conciliatory approach is ineffective, we will support you through the court process.
Domestic Violence
Domestic violence is simply not acceptable. We offer remedies to clients who are the subject of abuse. We are experienced in obtaining domestic violence injunctions backed by powers of arrest by the police.

What will it cost?
We are unusual in that we can often offer a fixed fee, especially in uncontested divorces. If this is not possible, at our initial meeting we will give you a best estimate of what you can expect your case to cost. This will be reviewed carefully each month.
We always try to negotiate settlements without going to court. The court is a last resort and this helps to keep costs in proportion. We also pride ourselves on being able to act speedily. This approach prevents costs from spiralling out of control.
